A consumeristic monster
A narcissist not only
Endeavoring to self-actualize
Live my dreams fully
Worship, exalt, esteem me always
My image and persona most glorious
Imperfections get out of the way
Acknowledge them not, vanity I've got
Despairing within my soul does rot
Beautiful characteristics and traits
I have never forsaken, nor forgot
In fact these I make mention of often
No time to soften my rough disposition

The narcissistic ex continually acts in abusive, bewildering and confusing ways. He is not above committing destructive acts. When the breakup becomes a reality, it is likely that his 'false persona' will completely disappear all together and you will most likely experience the most hurtful of behavior from him. He is completely lacking in empathy, and - since he is not receiving any admiration from you anymore - he will dismiss you and discard you as worthless to him, consequently dropping any fake front that he use to put up in order to keep you in the relationship. Pointing out others flaws is more easy
My own miserable qualities make me queasy
Self-righteous, all-knowing, and blind to me
My ego is paramount, it's oh so cheeky
Confront I and it will get quite freaky
Foaming at the mouth due to inferiority
Don't bruise I's ego or false sense of superiority
Uplift I lest he cry and leave for no reason why
Rejoice and run with I before a battle ensues
Almighty I if not worshipped comes unglued
I must be the focal point and above all of you
Lest I be blue and obscured in the light of you
Be nice to I and quick to flatter him lavishly too
Lest I turn on you and pitch a self-centered fit
To manipulate, intimidate, and emasculate you.
