Narcissistic Behavior - Signs You are
Dating a Narcissist
By 'Breaking Up With Your
Narcissist'
It is hard enough getting into and maintaining
a relationship these days. There are just so many different factors involved
in today's fast paced world that marriages and relationships seem more difficult
to keep together. This is especially true for people who show signs of
narcissistic behavior. If all your knowledge of narcissism revolves around
people who love only themselves, you only are partially correct. It actually
is a disorder that affects people's personalities. It typically is found
in men, although women can suffer from the disorder as well. There are different
signs in which you can check to see if your partner is suffering from this
disorder, but it is best to let a mental health professional do the actual
diagnosis.
The main sign of narcissistic behavior
that most affects relationships is a lack of ability to empathize. In
relationships, it is important to view your partner's feelings as if they
were your own. Narcissistic people cannot do that because they believe in
their minds that they are the only ones that matter. Another sign is entitlement.
Because they feel they are the most important person, they feel they should
be treated differently because they are better. Your partner may also take
advantage of others without any thought as long as it will benefit
himself.

Breaking up with a histrionic narcissist? Be prepared for the battle
of your life! While you are an emotional basketcase, he is as Cold as Ice!
While you are left holding down the fort and dealing with the real-life
responsibilities, he walks away from everything leaving you to mop off
his stage and pay his bills. He will punish you in ways you couldn't possibly
have ever imagined...
....and not
even acknowledge it to himself! Why? Because he's off charming the socks
off of new women as if your years together didn't even
exist!
The narcissistic
ex continually acts in abusive, bewildering and confusing ways. He is
not above committing destructive acts. When the breakup becomes a reality,
it is likely that his 'false persona' will completely disappear all together
and you will most likely experience the most hurtful of behavior from him.
He is completely lacking in empathy, and - since he is not receiving any
admiration from you anymore - he will dismiss you and discard you as
worthless to him, consequently dropping any fake front that he use to put
up in order to keep you in the relationship. Click here to join us at our 'Breaking Up & Dealing With

Because they have this need to be praised,
they will seek out attention that will give them positive praise or admiration.
They often do whatever it takes to get this attention, even if it is detrimental
to those around them. Another trait that could signify narcissistic behavior
is jealousy. They feel in their minds that everything should be about them,
so they become jealous if someone else is getting the attention they want.
They cannot feel good about other people's successes because they often view
them as unwarranted. All of these signs can cause great problems in a
relationship.
Another sign of narcissistic behavior your partner may possess is idealizing
over people or actions. This is how they get people into relationships with
them many times because they tend to put their partners on imaginary pedestals
in the beginning. They then remove you from there without any warning or
merit. If your partner is showing any of these signs, it does not necessarily
mean he is a narcissist. If you think he may be, you and your partner need
to seek mental help from a professional.
